BASIC GUIDE FOR USE OF HIMOTO RC CARS

BASIC GUIDE FOR USE OF HIMOTO RC CARS

 Models with Ni-MH Batteries

§  First Charge: 6 to 8 Hours (Supplied Charger)

§  After first charge 4-6 Hours (Supplied Charger)

Average Run Time (Terrain Dependant) 12-15min

 Models with Li-Po Batteries

Models are supplied with a balance charger with indicator lights. Once the lights turn green the battery s fully charged. DO NOT LEAVE ON CHARGE OVER NIGHT OR UNATTENED.

Average Run Time (Terrain Dependant) 15-20min

When and How to charge

Models with Ni-MH Batteries

Before the first use of the model to give the battery a full charge.

When the car becomes slow and unresponsive (battery low) it is good to lift the car up taking the pressure off the wheels and spin the motor up so that the wheels spin. This will discharge the battery completely. Recharge as above.

Models with Li-Po Batteries

Before the first use of the model to give the battery a full charge using the supplied balance charger, removing from charge when the status lights go to green.

When the car becomes jerky and erratic (battery low). DO NOT DISSCHARGE. (Risk of Damage to Battery) Leave to cool then Recharge as above.

Ideally charge within a Li-Po safe bag

With all Electric RC products do not use if wet i.e. Heavy Rain, Large Puddles and Wet Roads etc. Also wet mud or grass. Water will get in to the motors, ESC (electronic speed controller) servos and receiver electrics which can cause damage the components. This type of damage will void any warranty.

Storage of batteries when not in use.

All Batteries regardless of type need to be stored in a cool dry environment. DO NOT store in Direct Sun Light or near any heat source (airing cupboard with boiler or cupboards near cookers/ Microwave’s)

Li-Po batteries ideally to be stored in a Li-Po safe Bag
